An authentic Japanese-style inn,
Miharuya is situated in the quaint and historic resort town of Izu Atagawa.
The name Miharuya means three springs,
and represents our aspiration to bring beaming smiles, like blooming flowers in spring,
to each and every guest through our hot spring baths, cuisine and guestrooms.

Wide variety of hot spring baths
Baths at Miharuya are fed by natural thermal waters flowing from our own spring.
With these abundant waters, we offer a variety of hot spring bathing experiences:
Fountain Bath (Funto-no-Yu) and Stream Bath (Seseragi-no-Yu) both with alternating use for men and women;
Tropical Outdoor Bath (Nangoku-yaten-buro) surrounded by natural wilderness and available for private use; and a private outdoor bath, Hanare, in a tranquil annex.
Enjoy bathing in a variety of natural hot spring baths with friends or family.
Fountain Bath (Funto-no-Yu)
Fountain Bath contains abundant natural thermal waters from our own spring. The sulfate waters are considered therapeutic for neuralgia, rheumatism, gynopathy and other ailments. Fountain Bath consists of a bath filled with not-too-hot water, a bath with Bincho charcoal and a large bathing room.

The large bathing room rotates for men and women at 11:00 pm.Please try and compare all of our baths, both day and night.
Stream Bath (Seseragi-no-Yu)
Like the Fountain Bath, Stream Bath consists of a large bathing room, a reclining bath and a bath filled with not-too-hot water. The natural sulfate thermal waters are considered therapeutic for neuralgia, rheumatism, gynopathy and other ailments.

Hot sand bath:the only one in Izu!
Lie in the sand warmed by thermal waters from our own source. This sand-bathing not only warms you up, it promotes perspiration and improves metabolism levels to eliminate waste products.
It also helps ease back pain and stiff shoulders. After sand bathing, refresh with a dip and relax in the bath of your choice.

Private Outdoor Bath“Tropical Outdoor Bath (Nangokuyatenburo)”
Making use of surrounding landforms,
surrounding landforms, our Tropical Outdoor Bath has a touch of natural wilderness.
Down the stairs, undress in a veranda-like changing room, then step down again into an open, airy ambience.
An otherworldly bathing experience awaits you.

Women only: 7:00 am – 9:30 am
Exclusive use upon reservation: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am

Private Outdoor Bath “HANARE”
Private Outdoor Bath "Hanare" is a separate building a little bit away from the Miharuya main building.
It is necessary to go outside once, but we hope you will enjoy a little stroll.
Please take a flashlight or lantern in the evening
and enjoy tranquil moments with someone dear to you.

Highest-Quality Ryugu Multi-Course Dinner
Our signature dinner is named after the legendary Dragon King Palace (ryugu), and features Japanese spiny lobster and abalones.
Indulge your palate with blissful dishes, including a "fairyland's treasure box," Wagyu beef grilled on a porcelain tile and shabu shabu of splendid alfonsino.
Choice Gourmet Miharuya Multi-Course Dinner
Enjoy the delicious Izu-sourced alfonsino three different ways.
This multi-course dinner includes sashimi, shabu shabu and a simmered dish.
Great Value Koharu Multi-Course Dinner
This multi-course dinner includes flaky simmered splendid alfonsino. This is a great value dinner which combines the delicacies of Izu.

Rooms with a retro feel
Making use of an old building from the early 20th century,
our rooms offer a quaint ambience where you can enjoy a retro Japanese interior.
There are ten rooms, including those with a semi open-air cypress bath fed from our very own spring.

*The Miharuya building is an old building dating back to 1914, and the upper floors are accessible by stairs only.
